Bissap Juice

As summer approaches, a refreshing juice is the perfect accompaniment to a relaxing afternoon in the park, and a perfect drink to share with friends! Bissap is a juice that never disappoints.

Hibiscus sabdariffa is the main ingredient of bissasp. At first sight, the juice can easily be mistaken for cranberry juice, but the red and white dried hibiscus leaves create the perfect taste. This refreshing drink is packed with antioxidants, and it can be sweetened based on preference.

Create delicious popsicles for the kids to enjoy by freezing the juice!

Tips from the Chef

  • For a lighter beverage, don't hesitate to add water.

  • Also, it is important to infuse the tea and not boil it. Boiling the leaves results in a more acidic drink and therefore more sugar might be required to bring up the sweetness.

Bon appétit!
